Ampa is the UK’s leading group of legal and professional services companies. It has been listed in Best Companies 2022 as one of the top 100 best large companies to work for in the UK.

Also, it’s ranked as a top 25 law firm, top 75 East Midlands company, top 75 West Midlands company, and top 50 large London company to work for – and has recently been awarded B-Corp accreditation.

Growthack had the privilege of working with the following Ampa brands:

“Fantastic SEO and Paid Search agency! We’ve been working with Growthack for over 18 months now and we’ve seen some fantastic results. Really knowledgeable and always challenging us with new ways of thinking and ideas” – Jade Warwick, Marketing Manager

The Challenges

Ampa is already well-respected within the professional services industry. However, the brand is always evolving and this requires an agile partnership to facilitate growth. Importantly, clear-cut specialist attention was required to ensure that effective search strategies were implemented.

Specifically, Shakespeare Martineau and Marrons are national firms but offer a localised service and as such required a hyper-local means to reach potential customers across the UK.

Also, as part of Ampa’s ‘house of brands’ strategy, new companies such as CSS Assure required help with launching their new website.

Shakespeare Martineau restructure, enhancements and expansion

The shma.co.uk website required several improvements to key acquisition areas. We immediately saw opportunities to focus on technical and local SEO strategies to improve the discoverability of the brand within all the office locations. We also worked closely with the team to revamp the site’s navigation, user experience as well as migrating gl.law to the shma.co.uk domain – helping Shakespeare Martineau expand into Bristol, a new territory.

Increasing Marrons organic visibility during a domain migration

We took a similar localised approach for the marrons-planning.co.uk website. However, we were also presented with the opportunity and challenge to migrate to a refreshed website on a new, shorter marrons.co.uk domain.

Migrations are always tricky – so collaborating closely with Jade, Louis and the team ensured that all the valuable gains from the previous SEO work were successfully transferred across to the new website.

The Results

Kevin has been a huge help with our SEO. His expertise and knowledge has helped us identify areas we need to make improvements. Combined with his support we have seen a great uplift in our organic presence.” – Louis Coe, Web Producer
